Escapees is a large organization, but there are always stars among the numbers. Duane and Jean have been directors of the largest annual event — Escapade — for several years. Ask anyone about the quality of the event and they’ll point to the Mathes’ time and effort to make it the success it is. They, in turn, will point to the volunteers, and very quickly.
